1. Scope and Service Overview
Future Balance calculates compound investment and savings results from conditions you enter, such as principal, returns, periods, contributions, interest rates, and tax rates. It has no registration or user accounts, and the company does not operate a server that stores calculation information.
This policy applies to the Future Balance service, this public privacy-policy page, and inquiries users send by email. The provisions that apply may differ depending on the features currently offered and the actual processing involved; those differences are described below as Web and mobile-app processing.
Calculation values are not always personal information by themselves, but may become personal information when combined with item names or inquiry content that identifies a person. Calculation inputs and information automatically processed by external services are described separately below.
2. Purposes, Data Categories, and Collection Methods
The following information is processed depending on the platform and features you use.
- Calculations and settings: Amounts, periods, returns, interest rates, contributions, tax rates, currencies, Comparison and Portfolio configurations and item names, and settings such as language, compounding frequency, and display units that you enter directly are used to calculate results. On mobile, they are also used to restore your latest inputs.
- Web connections: When you visit the website, your IP address, visit time and requested page, browser or device information, and connection and security records are processed automatically. This information is used to deliver pages, diagnose connection problems, and protect the service.
- Mobile advertising and consent: Google advertising services automatically process IP addresses, device and account identifiers, records of app and ad use, advertising information, performance and error information, and consent status. This information is used for non-personalized advertising, measurement, ad-frequency management, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and privacy-choice management.
- Email inquiries: The sender address, display name, message, and attachments that a user sends by email are used to respond, investigate errors, and handle privacy-rights requests.
3. Differences by Use Environment
Website
Calculation information is used only on the open page and disappears when you refresh or close the tab. It is not stored on a company server or in the web address, and there is no feature for saving calculation values or item names in a shareable link.
The website currently has no advertising, usage analytics, or error-reporting tools. If you select Korean or English, the language choice is stored in your browser so the same language can be shown on your next visit.
Mobile app
The mobile app stores calculation inputs and settings in its on-device storage so it can restore your last state. Calculation results themselves are not stored. Calculation inputs are not used for ad personalization or sent to a company server.
The mobile app uses Google advertising and consent-management services to display ads and provide privacy choices.
4. Retention
- Calculation information stored in the app: It remains on the device until you change it, use ‘Reset All Inputs,’ or remove the app. Resetting deletes calculation inputs but keeps app settings such as language and display preferences. Those settings remain until you change them or remove the app. If device backup is enabled, copies may remain longer under the backup service’s policies and settings.
- Calculation information entered on the website: It disappears when you refresh or close the tab. Your language choice remains until you delete the browser’s information for the site.
- Inquiry emails: When an inquiry is resolved and no longer needs to be retained, the email is moved to Gmail Trash and is automatically deleted after 30 days. It can be restored from the account before then. Where applicable law requires separate retention, the information is kept for that required period.
- Information handled by external services: Cloudflare and Google retain connection and advertising information according to their privacy policies, service settings, and contracts.
5. Destruction Procedures and Methods
Mobile calculation inputs are removed from app storage when you use ‘Reset All Inputs.’ Remove the app to delete local data including settings. sosopixel cannot remotely access or delete calculation inputs that exist only on your device.
Operating-system backups must be managed separately in iCloud, Google backup, or device backup settings. Web calculation inputs are not persisted, so there is no separately stored copy to destroy; the language preference can be erased through the browser’s site-data controls.
After an inquiry is resolved, its email is moved to Gmail Trash and is automatically deleted 30 days later. Attachments are reviewed within Gmail and are not downloaded for separate retention. Deletion from Google and Cloudflare systems follows each provider’s policy and the confirmed contract terms.
6. Mobile Advertising and Privacy Choices
The mobile apps use Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform for banner advertising and consent management. Every ad request is marked for non-personalized ads. Non-personalized ads still use context and coarse location, and use identifiers or device storage for frequency management and aggregated reporting.
The mobile app does not request operating-system permission for ad tracking and is configured to prevent Google from creating an app-specific identifier. Google advertising services still process IP addresses, app and ad activity, device or app information, and error information when providing non-personalized ads.
When the app starts, Google’s consent-management service checks your privacy choices. Where required, it displays an explanation before loading ads, and ads are loaded only when an ad request is allowed. Users who need to change a choice see ‘Ad Privacy Settings’ in Settings. Calculations remain available if you do not consent or an ad is not shown.
7. Website Delivery and Advertising
The Future Balance website and this policy page are delivered through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes IP addresses, requested pages, connection and device information, and security records to deliver pages and respond to connection problems and security threats.
The website currently has no Google ads, advertising-consent notice, separate usage analytics, or error-reporting feature. Ad-placement markers visible during development are not real ads and are not shown on the public service.
If website advertising is introduced, Google may process information and store information in the browser for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. The actual processing, consent and refusal methods, provider relationships, and overseas transfers will be added to this policy before advertising begins.
8. External Services
The following external services are used in current operations or mobile-app code. Information processed under each provider’s own responsibility is also governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare Pages
Work and purpose: Web content delivery, traffic routing, availability, and security.
Data and method: When you visit the website, your IP address, requested page, connection and device information, and security records are sent automatically.
How to refuse and effect: If you refuse transmission of connection information, you cannot use Web as delivered through Cloudflare.
Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform
Work and purpose: Mobile ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and privacy-choice management.
Data and method: When a mobile ad is loaded or your privacy choices are checked, the advertising and consent information in Section 2 is sent automatically to Google advertising services. Other businesses involved in delivering the ad may receive part of the ad request.
How to refuse and effect: Make choices through Google’s notice and, when shown, ‘Ad Privacy Settings.’ Depending on the choice, ads may be restricted or not shown, while calculations remain available.
Gmail
Work and purpose: Receiving, retaining, and responding to email inquiries and handling privacy-rights requests.
Data and method: When a user sends an email, the sender address, display name, message, and attachments are transmitted to Google’s email systems.
Retention: Retention in the account follows the inquiry period in Section 4. Retention and deletion in Google systems follow Google policies and service settings.
How to refuse and effect: If you do not send an email, you cannot receive an inquiry response. No alternative rights-request channel is currently published.
9. Disclosure to Third Parties
sosopixel does not receive or sell calculation inputs through its own server and does not pass calculation inputs to third parties as ad-targeting parameters. Except where specifically authorized by law, inquiry information is not disclosed for external marketing.
10. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent for personal information processed by sosopixel. A legal guardian or authorized agent may also submit a request through the email in Section 13. We verify only the minimum information needed to confirm identity or authority and explain any legally applicable limitation.
Delete mobile calculation inputs directly with ‘Reset All Inputs’ in Settings, or remove the app to erase app settings as well. Web calculation inputs are not stored, and the language preference can be erased through browser site-data controls. Manage device backups in the operating system or backup-service settings.
Mobile advertising choices can be changed through Google’s notice and, when shown, ‘Ad Privacy Settings.’ For information processed by Google or Cloudflare under their own responsibility, use the rights and contact procedures in the provider’s privacy policy.
11. Children Under 14
Future Balance does not collect age or date of birth during registration because it has no registration process. It also does not currently provide a separate guardian-consent process for children under 14. Users under 14 should not send their own or another person’s personal information by email and should contact us with a guardian.
12. Safeguards
The following measures are applied in proportion to the scope and risks of processing.
- Calculations run on the device or in the browser, with no user accounts or backend for calculation inputs.
- The website uses an encrypted connection, and calculation values and item names are not placed in the web address.
- Mobile advertising-identifier permissions are removed or not requested, and mobile ad requests are limited to non-personalized ads.
- The representative handles privacy inquiries directly, uses two-step verification on the email account, and does not retain separately downloaded attachments.
13. Operator and Privacy Contact
Operator: 소소픽셀(SosoPixel)
Inquiries and rights requests: sosopixel.dev@gmail.com
Send only information needed for a response. Do not include unnecessary personal information such as account numbers, actual asset details, or identity documents.
For Korean privacy complaints, the Personal Information Infringement Report Center is available at 118, and the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee at 1833-6972.
14. Changes and Prior Versions
If personal-data practices change, this page will state the change and effective date. Updating this page does not replace separate consent or individual notice when either is legally required.
